Amazing Star - Allan Wu

This multi-talented American-born Chinese can lay claim to be Singapore's very own action hero. And with a wife like Li Lin, the arts graduate from the University of California at Berkeley is the envy of most. After modeling in the United States for a while, Allan moved to Taiwan to become an MTV VJ, hosting programs such as Party Zone, MTV International Top 20 and Most Wanted.

He then moved to Singapore to host Talentime 2001 and Super model of the World-Singapore, thus beginning his career in entertainment here. On the big screen, the actor is no stranger too. He has appeared in the local romantic comedy, I Do I Do, Hong Kong's Night Corridor, produced by the acclaimed Stanley Kwan, and the Chinese film Kung Fu Hip Hop.

Never resting on his laurels, Allan went international by flying back to the US to compete on Fear Factor, and doing us proud by finishing 2nd. One thing led to another, and he landed the coveted spot as the host of The Amazing Race Asia. Allan also made a guest appearance in the hugely popular Hong Kong variety, Super Trio Supreme Singapore version where the group beat their opposing team hands down !

He continues to add to his illustrious portfolio by appearing in Singapore’s very own version of the iconic Ripley’s Believe It or Not. Major companies such as True Yoga fitness centers, Carlsberg Singapore, Tag Heuer and Swenson's restaurants are proud to select him as their brand ambassador and spokesperson.
